How to export a log file?

if you need to retrieve a log file from your MT4, please follow the steps below. 

For PC Users:

1. In MT4, choose "File" -> "Open Data Folder” 
2. Open the “logs” folder and choose the date of your choice

For Smartphone Users

1. In MT4, open “Settings” -> “Journal” 
2. Choose the date of your choice
3. Tap the e-mail button on the top right corner, put a description at least 20 characters long in the explanation column and tap on the “Complete” button
4. Change the recipient address from “MetaQuotes” to the Support Team ([e-mail]) and send the e-mail
